Server Connection Info

Information on how to connect to the Alliant Games Rust servers.

Rust Hybrid Server

Direct connect is playrust.alliant.gg

To connect to the Alliant Games Hybrid Rust server:

1. Download and install Rust from Steam.

2. Launch the game and select PLAY GAME on the launch screen.

3. Select MODDED servers and then select SHOW EMPTY. Wait for servers to populate in the server list. You may have to deselect USE CACHE if you do not see the server.

4. Search for "Alliant Games" in the search bar.

5. If you are unable to locate the server, press F1 and type connect playrust.alliant.gg

6. Remember to favorite the server so you can find it again easily in your FAVOURITED list.

Rust Development Server

You must be whitelisted to connect to this server. If interested in becoming a beta tester, please visit: https://apply.alliant.gg

Direct connect is devrust.alliant.gg

To connect to the Alliant Games Development Rust server:

1. Download and install Rust from Steam.

2. Launch the game and select PLAY GAME on the launch screen.

3. Select MODDED servers and then select SHOW EMPTY. Wait for servers to populate in the server list. You may have to deselect USE CACHE if you do not see the server.

4. Search for "Alliant Games" in the search bar.

5. If you are unable to locate the server, press F1 and type connect devrust.alliant.gg

6. Remember to favorite the server so you can find it again easily in your FAVOURITED list.

The Development Server may not be running at all times. Please post in #rust-beta-testing if you need the server started.

Rust Staging Server

The Staging Server is used for testing new functionality by Facepunch. There are no plugins or custom configuration on this server.

Direct connect is stagerust.alliant.gg

To connect to the Alliant Games Staging Rust server:

1. Download and install Rust - Staging Branch from Steam.

2. Launch the game and select PLAY GAME on the launch screen.

3. Select COMMUNITY servers and then select SHOW EMPTY. Wait for servers to populate in the server list. You may have to deselect USE CACHE if you do not see the server.

4. Search for "Alliant Games" in the search bar.

5. If you are unable to locate the server, press F1 and type connect stagerust.alliant.gg

6. Remember to favorite the server so you can find it again easily in your FAVOURITED list.

The Staging Server may not be running at all times. Please post in #rust-beta-testing if you need the server started.
