Ban Appeals
If you wish to appeal a ban, you may do so by opening a ticket in the Discord Community > #create-ticket channel.
SECTION 1 - GENERAL RULES
KOS is not permitted outside of PVP zones. Player bags and corpses are not lootable by non-team members outside of PVP zones.
Members are expected to maintain a positive and constructive presence in our community. Disruptive behavior will not be permitted, including:
Creating or escalating conflicts
Intentionally causing discord within the community
Actions that negatively impact other players' experience
We aim to maintain a respectful gaming environment where all members can enjoy their experience.
We do not tolerate discriminatory behavior, hate speech, or harassment of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to:
Racist or discriminatory comments
Sexist remarks
Hostile or toxic behavior toward other players
Offensive content in player names or clan names
Advertising other communities, servers, or websites is not permitted in-game or in usernames. This includes Discord server invites and recruiting players to other servers through in-game chat or voice.
Exceptions: Rust skin gambling promotions
The use of any unauthorized advantages is prohibited, including:
Game hacks or modified clients
Scripts or macros
Using external tools for unfair advantages
Any suspected cheating will be investigated and may result in an immediate ban.
All in-game content must be appropriate for streaming and comply with Twitch Terms of Service, including:
Player & Clan names
Building designs
Signs and artwork
Chat messages
For detailed guidelines, refer to Twitch TOS: www.twitch.tv/p/en/legal/terms-of-service/
If you discover any game exploits or broken mechanics:
Report them to administration immediately
Do not use them for in-game advantages
Do not share them with other players
Do not discuss them in public channels
Exploiting known bugs or glitches may result in administrative action. Report issues through Discord's #create-ticket channel.
SECTION 2 - PVE RULES
While roleplay is optional on our hybrid server, we encourage players to respect and support the roleplay experience. Players who choose to roleplay should be able to enjoy their gameplay without disruption, and those who prefer standard gameplay should be mindful of ongoing roleplay scenarios.
Players cannot force or pressure others to participate in roleplay scenarios. Respect when others choose not to engage in roleplay interactions and allow them to play as they prefer.
Do not make public accusations of cheating. If you suspect someone of cheating, submit your evidence through our Discord ticket system. Include any relevant screenshots, videos, or combat logs to support your report.
Players are responsible for securing their own loot. Proper base security and storage management is your responsibility - losses due to poor security or unlocked containers will not be reimbursed. Take necessary precautions to protect your items from theft.
SECTION 3 - RAIDING & LOOTING
Joining a clan or team with the intention to betray them ('insiding') is prohibited. This includes:
Joining to steal resources
Gaining codes/access to raid from within
Sabotaging the clan/team intentionally
Such deceptive behavior damages community trust and will result in administrative action.
Sleeper Protection:
Sleeping players outside of secured bases may be killed, but they cannot be looted outside of PVP zones
Unprotected items and bases may be looted. Protect your belongings by securing:
Doors
Storage containers
Tool cupboards
Deployable items
Using locks is your responsibility - unsecured items are considered fair game.
Decaying bases may be looted, but breaking or destroying base parts to gain entry is not allowed.
Only use existing decay damage for access.
Maintain your base upkeep to prevent decay looting.
Administrators will not assist players trapped in bases unless it's a confirmed trap base.
Players are responsible for their own safety when entering other players' bases.
The Giant Excavator is a protected mining area - looting and interfering with players using it is not allowed. This protection only applies outside of PvP zones.
When completing an event, those that begin it should be afforded the opportunity to complete it without interference. Whomever has begun clearing a monument with NPCs should be regarded as the “owner” of the monument. Crates associated with the events are locked for 10 minutes to the team before becoming publicly available.
All vehicles, helicopters, and horses should be locked when not in use to prevent damage or griefing from other players.
SECTION 4 - PVP RULES
Use the command !pvp in chat to view current PvP-enabled areas. These zones override PvE protection and allow combat between players.
Camping or baiting at PvP zone boundaries is prohibited. Players must have a fair opportunity to enter PvP areas without immediate ambush or harassment.
Any events that occur inside of a PvP designated area will reclassify as a PvP event regardless of event type and/or if purchased.
SECTION 5 - BUILDING RESTRICTIONS
Respect other players' building space and expansion needs. When building:
Maintain reasonable distance from existing bases
Use Tool Cupboards (TC) to claim space for planned builds
Avoid crowding other players' areas
Dispute Resolution:
If someone builds too close, submit a ticket through Discord
Admin team will contact the base owner
Bases may be removed after 72 hours of no response
Planning multiple builds? Place TCs to claim your intended building areas in advance.
Land claims using TCs must be developed within 3 days. TCs placed to block others from building ('TC griefing') are prohibited.
Build compounds and walls at reasonable sizes that don't interfere with other players' gameplay. Excessive compounds that limit map access or building opportunities for others may require adjustment. There is a limit on the number of TCs you can place, but if you feel you need an exception please open a ticket in Discord.
All defensive weapons (except SAM sites) must be:
Contained within compound walls
Unable to engage players passing or flying by
Positioned to only protect your base interior
External turrets or traps that can harm players outside your compound are not allowed. Traps breaking these rules will be removed by admins
All SAM sites must be left turned off or in peacekeeper mode until purge is active.
Building bases or walls that block access to public resources and monuments is prohibited. This includes monuments, quarries, rivers, barrel/node spawns, and biome areas.
Excessive placement of items that cause server lag or impact player performance will be removed, including:
Light sources
Water catchers
Deployable items
Decorative elements
Admins may remove items affecting server performance without notice.
Twig bases are not allowed and all twig should be upgraded to an appropriate building material. Twig will fully decay after 2 hours and cannot be repaired.
Quarries and Pumpjacks:
Limited to 2 machines per player
Available only to Elite perk tier or higher
Can be any combination (2 quarries, 2 pumpjacks, or 1 of each)
SECTION 6 - WARNINGS, KICKS & BANS
Previous rule violations will lead to escalated punishments for subsequent offenses. Each additional violation increases the severity of administrative action.
Temporary bans range from 24 hours to 3 days, with duration based on the severity of the offense.
Permanent bans remain in effect until either successfully appealed or lifted by administrators.
Severe violations result in permanent, non-appealable bans. These lifetime bans are final and cannot be contested.
All contestable bans (temporary or permanent) can be appealed through Discord:
Use #create-ticket channel
Submit your appeal request
Wait for admin review
