Max of 150 foundations per building.
Square Foundations cost 200 metal fragments and 100 wood.
Triangle Foundations cost 100 metal fragments and 50 wood.
Can only be crafted in the radius of a T2 and up workbench.
Admin Commands
/give_square [qty] - to give square foundations to yourself
/give_triangle [qty] - to give triangle foundations to yourself
/draw_cargo - to place a bubble around the nearest cargo node
/shore_distance - to measure the distance between yourself and shore
How to use:
Have wood and frags in your inventory. Equip a building plan in the radius of a tier 2 workbench. You will see the option to craft either a triangle or square foundation in the bottom right. Craft several of these or however many you think you will need.
Equip a water foundation in your hotbar. It will look like an innertube on your screen. Click to place the foundation in the water. It has to be far enough from shore, deep enough water, not in the path of cargo, etc. You only need to place the first foundation like this.
Once you place the first foundation, you can use your building plan to place triangle or square floors and they will attach to your foundation but will pull water foundations from your inventory. Make sure you are using floors and not foundations or they won't attach.
Once placed, you can upgrade them like normal.
